Whether you're a novice, professional, or just enjoy the beauty of photography, this club is for you! Workshops and demonstrations offer new perspectives to the world around us. Competitions are designed for member participation, and the public is invited to watch.
We usually meet at 7:00 pm on the last Tuesday of each month, September thru May (except December), at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 511 E. Sturgis Street.
The mission of this club is to explore and promote creativity through photography.
Our next meeting is Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 7 p.m.
This Years Competition Topics
Here are this years' competition topics voted on by last year's membership:
1) November 26, 2019 - Old Rusty Stuff - From motorcycles to signs, from nuts and bolts to all things abandoned, find some old rusty stuff that captures your eye and turn it into a creative image.
2) January 28, 2020 - "40" - Still-life or real-life, photograph "40" as your subject. A group of things, or the number itself...let your imagination lead your composition. Your photo does not have to be "celebration" related, but it could be.
3) March 31, 2020 - Tools of the Trade - Specific tools used in a particular profession, any job/trade....be creative and show the tools needed to do a job well.
4) April 28, 2020 - Ground Level - See the world from your pet's perspective. Get down low and shoot from ground level.
